Will Valterra DWV Adapter Attach to Jabsco Macerator Pump

Hello, I am about to mount a Jabsco mecerator pump for black and grey water under my camper van. The pump has a male thread on the 1-1/2inch inlet side. I do not know what thread this is, but most macerator pumps have this male thread. Question 1: Does the female thread of the Valterra DWV Adapter for RV Sewer System - ABS Plastic - 1-1/2inch Hub to FPTfoot fit the male Jabsco pump-inlet thread? If not, what does fit the male pump-inlet thread? Question 2: Since the macerator pump inlet is 1-1/2, is it okay to reduce the 3inch black water pipe to a 1-1/2 inch valve instead of using a 3inch valve and then reduce to 1-1/2?

The Valterra DWV Adapter for RV Sewer System # D50-2922 does use the same 1-1/2 inch pipe thread size as what your Jabsco Macerator uses so it will match right up. And yes, it's okay to reduce the pipe size in the way you described as well.
