Replacing Fan-Tastic Roof Vent to Upgrade it to Vent with Fan
Question:
Trailer i bought has a roof vent that is the model 900just a empty/no fan/manually openingfantastic. I would like to put a fan in it but have read the 900 is not upgrade able. Can you tell me why this isit appears to be same dimensions as all the other fantastic fan model that come w/fans. I’d like to just buy a kit that would sell me fan w/motor, 3 speed switch, and a reverse switch. Please help me see the problem. Thanks

Replacing the entire roof vent really isn't much more involved than upgrading one, and since there isn't an upgrade kit for the vent assembly you have now your best solution is to go with the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Reversible # FV801250 which will give you a fully functional RV roof vent with a reversible fan that moves quite a bit of air.
