Fifth Wheel Rail Kit and Hitch for 2019 Ford F-350 to Tow Jayco Pinnacle 38FLWS
Question:
Im knew to this, and I guess I should trust the manufacturing rep, but we all make mistakes. I just purchused a used 2019 F350 Crew Cab Long Bed SRW 6.7L 4x4 that has Husky 5th wheel rails. The Husky Rep tells me they have 16 and 26K rails. She said my 4 bolt mount is 16K. By adding the centers bolt with Husky Ford Aluminum bed kit 33150, the rails can pull 26K. Every artical I read states theyfoot dont recommend pulling over 16k with these rails without installing the 10 bolt system. Dont want to take any undue risk, this will be our full time retirement home. Were pulling aJayco Pinnacle 38flws, 14.5k dry, 17K loaded, tongue at 3600. Your input recommendations are appreciated.

We always recommend sticking with what the manufacturer of the hitch/rail kits states as they are the authority on the the weight ratings of their products.
We actually don't have a Husky rail kit that was confirmed as a fit for your truck though so it sounds like someone installed a set of universal rails. The best option we have is a custom fit fifth wheel rail kit like the Reese part RP50074-58 which is going to easily have the capacity you need. For a hitch the Reese # RP300928 has a 20k capacity and features a jaw design that holds the trailer very tightly for a quiet and smooth ride. This would be the best recommendation I can make that I know you'll be able to feel safe with.
