Best Rear Anti-Sway Bar for a 2017 Jayco Greyhawk Motorhome
Question:
Hi would like your opinion on the above roadmaster rear sway bars. I have a 2018 Jayco Greyhawk 31fs built on a Ford E450 V10 platform and not sure which bar to go with. Does the larger bar add more stiffness and or ride support? I'm also looking for some additional ride/suspension upgrades. I see you offer quite a few options and wasnt sure what might work best for my setup. Not looking to do any complex modifications. Just something easy that would provide noticeable ride improvement while going down the road.

Yes, the thicker the anti-sway bar is the more support it will offer thereby decreasing body roll and sway more. I recommend the larger 1-5/8" diameter anti-sway bar for your 2018 Jayco Greyhawk 31FS, the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1139-163. The above rear anti-sway bar will be the most beneficial upgrade you can make to your motorhome as this is typically the weakest point from the factory therefore will offer the biggest increase in ride quality.
The Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar is first and foremost. This is going to help eliminate the side to side rocking when cornering as well as being passed by larger vehicles. If you wanted to go one step further then I would add the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-106-54-1 (Excluding J-Ride Models) to the rear and then the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSF-106-47 to the front. These will help with the above side to side rocking, but they will do more for the front to back rocking known as porpoising.
I have attached an install video for you but all three above parts are drill free, bolt-on options that don't require any major modifications.
