Replacement Shurflo Water Pump For An 80s Era Truck Bed Camper

Question:

I’ve got an 80’s era truck bed camper sitting on top of a 78 Ford Ranger. It’s got a Shurflow 2088-403-444 in it dated 98. After much troubleshooting it appears that this is the problemmaybe/hopefully It won’t suck any water from the tank. Is there an fix or easy way to figure out if it truly is the problem???? And if it is the problem and it’s not an easy fix what can I replace it with as I’ve done google searches and can’t even find that model number. I’m headed to a festival this weekend and need help!!!!

I'm sorry about the timing with your festival right around the corner. We carry the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump # P25201 as a replacement for a 3-gallon-per-minute (GPM), 12V pump. I do recommend verifying the specs on your particular model though as it looks like there may have been a couple different versions of this Shurflo pump.

I have attached some short video demonstrations on this water pump that you can also check out. If your part specifications are different I am happy to help you from there as well.
