Troubleshooting Persistent Issues with Lippert Hydraulic Leveling System
Question:
Have 2018 Thor windsport 31z. Have had problems from day one with this system. Just got out of shop because they would not lower. Dealer sai there was a leak. Supposedly they fixed. Used motor home for first time since getting it back. System worked fine last night, tonight only 3 jacks will lower. This is the fifth time any help would be appreciated.

I have spoken with my contact at Lippert in the past regarding the same type of issue you're experiencing with your hydraulic leveling system. When this type of problem persists it's almost always the result of a weak power source.
It's important to keep in mind that the leveling system requires a fully charged battery and anything less than a 12.7V output can lead to erratic performance. I recommend making sure your battery is fully charged and in good condition. You can test its power output at the battery to make sure.
Check the wiring from there to the jacks for any pinched, exposed, or damaged areas that need to be repaired/replaced. Also make sure your ground connection is made to a clean, bare metal surface free of any debris or corrosion.
Please let me know what you find and we can go from there if it doesn't resolve the issue.
