Can the Curt Echo Be Used with Gooseneck/5th Wheel Trailer Using In-Bed 7-Way
Question:
I have 2 7 Pin connectors on my flatbed Gooseneck on a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 Quadcab. Can it be fitted into the one located in the Gooseneck Box or does it have to be the one on the rear bumper for proper sensing etc?

Yes, the orientation of the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 does not matter therefore it can be used with the in-bed 7-way or the bumper 7-way without issue. There are actually plenty of others who use the Curt Echo with a gooseneck/5th wheel trailer and it works just fine.
