Installing Solera 18V Power RV Awning Arms # LC434730 on Weekend Warrior Trailer
Question:
How can I determine if where these arms would get screwed in there is something substantial enough to support the awning? Also, how does this work with my existing dometic/ae tube? Do the spring need to be remove ? Thanks.in advance

When installing the Solera 18V Power RV Awning Arms # LC434730 you just neeed to make sure that all the mounting hardware/screws have a backer within the structure of the wall of your Weekend Warrior FS2500. You can simply mount them to the same location of your existing arms to be sure of a good spot, use a stud finder to locate appropriate areas, or give Weekend Warrior a call with your VIN. With this information they should be able to tell you where this type of hardware can be safely installed on the trailer.
The existing spring on your Dometic (A&E) awning will indeed be removed when installing the new system. I have forwarded you the complete installation manual in a separate email that you can review.
