Kuat Transfer 1 Bike Platform Rack Ground Clearance On Mazda CX-5
Question:
I asked a question before and you were very helpful in recommending the Kuart transfer 1 bike because it is light and secures children mountain and hybrid bikes as small as a 20 inch and 24 inch. Thank you. But, will the Transfer also work for hilly areas? I live in an area with many hills. My car is a 2018 Mazda CX-5 with a 1 1/4 hitch.

Yes, The Kuat Transfer 1 Bike Platform Rack part # KU64FR is a great option for ground clearance in hilly areas because the shank has a 5" rise compared to the other options that my have straight shanks. The Kuat will sit up a little higher than the other options.
