Can ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad be Installed Between Tank and Holding Bracket
Question:
I am looking to use these heaters on a 45 gallon tank. That tank is held up by 2 lateral brackets. If this pad were to be sandwiched between the tank and those brackets, would the weight of 45 gallons compromise its functionality ?

Expert Reply:
Yes, the weight of the tank when full would compromise the integrity of the ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000163 if you placed it between the tank and mounting brackets. This pad actually has a peel-and-stick installation so you don't need to use anything else to hold it in place. Just make sure that the mounting surface is clean so that it is able to hold well.
