Will the Thule Helium 2 Bike Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Fit a Class I Hitch on a 2012 Suzuki SX4

I spoke with my contact at Thule and she stated that the Helium, # TH9042PRO, will fit in a Class I trailer hitch. The original design of the Helium restricted it to Class II hitches but updated versions have been redesigned to replace that model. You will also want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on the Suzuki out to the distance required to clear the rear of the vehicle. If it is less than 8 inches, the rack will fit.

If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
