Factory Tow Prep Puck Spacing Different Between 2018 GM Truck Models
Question:
I have a 2018 gmc 3500hd with long bed and the with between the puck mounting holes is 40 inches. I had the same year and model except in a duly and the with was 29. What’s up, how do I get my curt 25k to fit the wider holes? Thanks for your help.

According to my research, a 2018 GM Truck with the OEM tow prep system had pucks that would measure 22 inches apart when measured front to back and 27 inches side to side, on center.
Reese also offered an aftermarket under-bed mounting system whose pucks measured 27 inches side to side and 13 inches front to back, on center.
If you could get me the center to center side to side and front to back puck spacing, as well as any info you can find by looking underneath, I'd be happy to do some more searching.
