This is a 120 volt, 8,800 Btu, 6 gallon tank, gas and electric water heater like what you have. Isnt the original GC6AA-9E an electronic unit where as the AT96117 is a manual light? Also is there a replacement tank available for the GC6AA?

The Atwood RV Water Heater # AT96117 is a manual pilot light but it will work as a replacement for the Atwood GC6AA-9E. For an automatic pilot light you can use the Atwood RV Water Heater # AT96121 instead.
I am not sure if there are replacement tanks available as we don't even carry any for the replacement models.
