How To Carry Both a Kayak with Rhino-Rack Nautic Stack and SUP On the Roof Of a Vehicle

Question:

I have the Rhino Nautic Post Style Kayak roof system. I read where you said that wont carry a Paddleboard and kayak together. You recommended the Thule carrier system. How can both be installed on your roof? I have the Rhino bars for my F350 but the Thule appear to be bars like them. Not sure how that configuration would accommodate both my kayaks and a Paddleboard? Please advise

Correct, the Rhino-Rack Nautic Stack Kayak Carrier part # RRS520 won't work with a SUP because these need to hauled flat so you don't have issues with wind resistance which could then dislodge the carrier. The Rhino-Rack Nautic Stack Kayak Carrier could still be used for your kayak but you would then need a saddle style carrier for the SUP, the Thule SUP Shuttle Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier part # TH811XT would work well for this.

The Thule SUP Shuttle would get installed on one side of the crossbars, with one set of clamps on the outside of the mounting feet as that would then allow for you to fit the Rhino-Rack Nautic Stack Kayak Carrier on the other side closest to the end. The Thule SUP Shuttle would work with all Rhino-Rack Crossbars save for the Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Roof Rack Crossbars. If you have any photo's of your roof rack that would surely better help me understand and explain the above.
