Bike Rack Recommendation for 2019 BMW GT 330i

I have a 2019 BMW GT 330i. Its sort of a hatch back . What bike rack will work? I have been looking at the SA1051

According to Saris, none of their trunk mount racks would be a fit for your vehicle. However, Yakima offers a solution, the FullBack, part # Y02634. Because you have a brand-new vehicle, I'd personally be a little hesitant to use a trunk mount rack. Any time a piece of equipment is in direct contact with the painted surface of a vehicle, there's a slight possibility that the vehicle could be scratched. This risk can be minimized by carefully observing the installation instructions and abiding by the 35 lb per bike capacity. You'll want to make sure that the surfaces of the rack and vehicle that touch are perfectly clean and free of grit. You'll also want to remove the rack when it's not in use.

Another option would be to install a roof rack and roof mounted bike carriers. I'd recommend a rack set-up from Rhino-Rack. This system would be made up of the parts #RRVA126B-2, # RRRLKVA, # DK328.

For a roof mounted bike rack, I'd recommend the RockyMounts TomaHawk, part # RKY1222. This rack is extremely versatile, it will accommodate regular or fat bikes and is compatible with the roof rack I mentioned. The bike attaches at the wheels and the frame for a secure fit.

Using a roof mount will greatly reduce the risk of the vehicle getting scratched.
