Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan

Can you recommend an oil and transmission cooler for a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan?

Expert Reply:

Because it uses a cartridge style oil filter instead of a spin-on type, the sandwich adapter required to install an oil cooler can't be used therefore we don't have an option to install an oil cooler for your vehicle. This being said, newer engines do a very good job keeping the oil cool already, so in all honesty a cooler isn't really needed on your vehicle.

You could indeed benefit from a transmission cooler, though. The best place to install a cooler is directly in front of the radiator, behind the grille. We usually recommend that folks get the biggest cooler that the available space will allow, but I know for a fact that the # D13503 will fit nicely. The insta-dapt fitting included will work to tap into the existing line, but we've found that the # D13035 is easier to use.
