Will the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2011 Acura TL

Question:

Will the ThuleOutWay 2 Bike Carrier TH45JV fit on my 2011 TL? I am asking because Thules true fit does not show ANY rear racks for the TL. I did note a posting that the TH45JV works with the TL 2012 ....so if you could please advise me about the 2011 TL compatibility. Note: I have the factory installed rear spoiler...but its very small. Many thanks!

I checked with Thule and the OutWay, # TH45JV, is listed as a fit for all models of the 2011 Acura TL. A spoiler is only going to be a problem if it interferes with the rack installation. No part of the rack, including the retractable cables on the rack, are allowed to touch (put any weight on) the spoiler. If any part of the rack does then you cannot use it. Thule does not test the racks on models with spoilers so they cannot guarantee fit.

I have included a link to a video review of the OutWay. The video will show you all of it's great features and hopefully show you how it will work with your spoiler.

If you will be carrying wome'ns, children's, or alternative frame bikes, then I recommend the bike adapter bar, # TH982XT, to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
