No Lights On Curt Echo While Plugged In

Question:

I bought this brake controller for my 2018 Lincoln Navigator which is equipped with 7-way electrical hook-up. The lights on the trailer are functional but the LED on the C51180 is black and I’m unable to pair the controller with my phone app. Is there a solution for this? Thanks

If the light on the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 does not illuminate once plugged-in then you most likely have an issue with the 12 volt power circuit on your 2007 Lincoln Navigator. I recommend removing the Echo and then testing the 1 o'clock pin on the 7-way with a circuit tester. If you don't have 12 volts here then you either have a wire short or blown fuse.
