Replacement for Dexter 8-248 Hub on E-Z Lube Axle and Recommended Grease

What hub kits do you have to replace a dexter idler hub marked 8-248 with an EZ Lube axle on a utility trailer with 15 inch wheels. Also this trailer sees harsh wet environments and highway miles. What would the best grease be to use?

The replacements for a Dexter 8-248 hub on an E-Z lube axle are the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles # 84545UC1-EZ or, since you mentioned wet environments, the Galvanized Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb E-Z Lube Axles # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K.
Both of these hubs will work with your 15 inch wheels and they have a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.
For grease in your harsh wet environments I highly recommend the LubriMatic Marine Trailer Wheel Bearing Grease # L54FR along with the LubriMatic mini Grease Gun, # 30-800.
