Tekonsha P2 Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2011 GMC Yukon XL
Question:
I have a 2011 Yukon XL without a wiring harness to hook up electric brake box. Looking for a wire kit and brake controller. Will this just plug in for me?

No plug is present under the dash, but the wires are already run. You only need to connect the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 brake controller # 90885 wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash.
The # 90885 is one of our best selling brake controllers because of how easy it is to setup and how well it works.
There is also a couple connections that need to be made under the hood of your vehicle. Check out the FAQ article I attached on installing a brake controller on a GM vehicle such as yours.
Once those wires are run you would be ready to go as long as you have a 7-way connector present at the rear of your vehicle. If you do not have a 7-way you will need a Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector # 30955.
