The Reese Elite Series Install Kit part # RP30852 which is a fit for your 2012 Ram 3500 is designed to use a 5th wheel hitch for Ford OEM Pucks such as the B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package part # BWRVK3300. There would be no way to use a 5th wheel hitch for Chevy OEM Pucks but you may be able to swap out the base. This would then allow you to use the head and center section, I would just need to know which exact 5th wheel hitch you have otherwise you would need to use one for the Ford OEM Pucks. The B&W Companion OEM 5th-Wheel Hitch listed above is the best for this.
