Lug Nuts Recommended To Fit Kenda 12 Aluminum Wheel

Question:

I bought a set of these tires and cant mount them. I have the regular wheel nut that you can find at any hardware store 1/2 inch long and it doesnt work because the nut goes into the recessed wheel and I doesnt stick out enough to torque it. Is there a 1 inch wheel nut with same .280 pitch?

You are correct that a longer lug nut is often needed vs a regular lug nut switching to this Kenda Tire # AM31208. There isn't enough space on a regular length lug nut for a tool to get a good grip.

The Americana Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 3/4" Diameter - Stainless Steel - 1/2" - 20 Item # AM26NR is my lug nut recommendation for these tires. You can also use Chrome Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 1/2" Item # 12CLN. Both of these are are 1-1/4 inch long vs. your 1/2 inch current set so the additional length will address your issue. These are sold in quantities of 1.
