What is the Draw-Tite Elite Series 5th Wheel Hitch Wrench Used For
Question:
What is this tool used for? It says to aid in the installation of the rails. It also says its one inch. What would I need this wrench for? I understand that the hitch head comes assembled.

The Wrench for Elite Series Fifth Wheel Hitch Installation Rails # 58276 that you referenced is designed for tightening the 1 inch jam nut to the anchor bushing and legs of an Elite or Signature series hitch.
Access is pretty limited in there and that is why the wrench is necessary. Check out the picture I attached to see where the jam nut and anchor bushing is.
