Best Cushioned Pin Box Options for 2017 Forest River Vengeance 377V Toy Hauler

Question:

I am looking to replace my pin box with an air ride. LC328492, lippert. I have a 2017 Vengeance toy hauler model 377v. My truck is a Ram 2500 diesel with a short bed. I have a sliding hitch on the truck. WIll the above hitch work ? also, will the trailer sit further back from the cab with the above king pin installed ? It has a standard 1621 king pin now.

The Trailair Flex Air pin box part # LC328492 is a really great option that fits your 2017 Vengeance toy hauler model 377V that has a Lippert 1621 pin box currently. The Flex Air pin boxes provide the smoothest ride quality of all of the cushioned pin boxes available. It works great with slider hitches too. It does not locate the king pin in a different location though. You'd have same clearance with this as you did before.

The type of pin box replacement that provides additional turning clearance is the Sidewinder part # RP34FR which moves the pivot point back 22 inches. We have a cushioned version of this with the part # RP61422. With these types of adapter you actually wouldn't have to use a slider hitch anymore around tight turns. You could leave your hitch slid forward all the time or swap it for a fixed hitch.
