Maximum Tightness of Inno Memory Mount Clamps # INBRP9
Question:
I was wondering if there is a limit to how tight the memory mounts can be. Obviously if they are too tight they either wont sit properly or theyll break. And I know there isnt really a measurement for this kind of thing. I just want them to be as tight as possible while still being safe

There isn't really a maximum tightness on the Inno Memory Mount Clamps # INBRP9 that you referenced. As long as the clamps are secured around the crossbars they are going to provide a safe attachment.
I did check with Inno and found that there is a minimum bar size that these will work with. As long as your crossbars are at least an inch wide and 3/4 of an inch tall these will work just fine. These minimum specs are probably the best way to determine exactly how tight or how far the clamps can actually close.
The maximum crossbar size these will work with is 3-1/2 inches wide and 1-3/8 inches tall.
