Best Gooseneck Hitch Recommendation for 1997 Ford F-250
Question:
Hello, I have a 1997 Ford F-250 HD Diesel short bed extra cab. I need a gooseneck hitch and air bags. Is the BandW worth $130 more than the Curtis brand? I have read a lot of conflicting information on weather or not the air bag brackets will interfere with the hitch mounts. Thanks. Also how do I know if I have overload springs?

When it comes to gooseneck hitches the B and W Turnoverball brand is the best hands down. We've found that they are the best quality overall, the easiest to use, easiest to install, and last the longest with the least amount of problems. So for your 1997 Ford F-250 you'd want the part # BWGNRK1110 which happens to fit with or without overload springs so you don't have to mess with determining that.
I am not sure what air spring kit you have installed in your truck but the only kit we have that fits with an in-bed hitch like this is the Air Lift part # AL88298.
