Tire Replacement for 6.50x13 for Shasta Compact Trailer
Question:
You answered a previous question about the modern equivalent for a 6.50 x 13, 4bolt tire in modern dimensions for an old trailer. Do you know if the tire you sell does indeed work on a 1963 Shasta compact trailer? thank you,

Expert Reply:
The closest modern equivalent to a 6.50-13 tire is a 175/80-13. The best option in this size is the Westlake part # LHWL101 which has a great speed rating at 75 mph, plenty of weight capacity for your camper, and comes with a warranty that includes roadside assistance.
This tire size is going to be .5 of an inch wider than what you have and also .6 of an inch taller so it should easily fit on your camper.
