Whats difference between a 4.00/4.800-8 tire and a 4.80/4.00-8?

While the 4.00/4.800-8 was once widely sold, very few companies produce them anymore and the 4.80/4.00-8 like # AM10004 is the only size you will often find. While the 4.80/4.00-8 is generally wider and taller, they were close enough in size to be interchangeable in the past. Most tire manufacturers eventually quit carrying both sizes and have gone to just carrying the 4.80/4.00-8.
