Recommended Generator for a 15,000 BTU Rooftop Air Conditioner On Trailer

I do have some options for you but the correct size generator will largely be dependent on whether or not your air conditioning unit has a start capacitor. If it does then that brings the starting amps/watts way down and you can obtain a much smaller generator therefore saving you money. If you do have a start capacitor then the etrailer 3,200-Watt Portable Inverter Generator part # 333-0003 would likely be just what you need but if you don't have a start capacitor then the etrailer 6,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generators part # 333-0003-2-0007 would be a better choice. If you like, you can go with the higher capacity and just have extra power for other items on the trailer if needed. The above etrailer generators are top notch as they are both dependable and quiet.
