Replacement Leaf Springs for 2003 Coachmen Clipper Camper
Question:
Hi, My pop up camper has a 2 3/8inch axle - 3500 lbs, and hanging axle distance between leaf spring eyes is 20 3/8, with 4 leafs. It looks like this product wont have adequate capacity, or is the weight split between the two springs? ie, 1750 lbs per leaf spring? Thanks,

The most important factor when picking out trailer leaf springs is matching the capacity first and then length second. So since you have a 3,500 lb axle the best option is the leaf spring # e59SR which measures 23-1/8 inches in length.
You will have to move your hangers out 2-1/4 inches for this spring to fit but since it's the correct axle rating it is the best choice. The leaf spring you mentioned has a 2,000 lb axle capacity so it wouldn't be safe for you to use.
