Can Wheels With Bias Ply Tires Be Used with Radial Ply Tires

Question:

I dont know if I have Radial or Bias RIMS on my travel trailer, a 1968. Can I use radial tires on a wheel designed for non radial tires? Weight will be about 2400 lbs. Thanks

There is no such thing as a radial or bias ply wheel to my knowledge. The radial and bias ply refers to how the belts of the tire are orientated. If there is a letter "D" before your wheel diameter on the tire, 205/75-D15 for example then you have bias ply tires but if you have a letter "R" before your wheel diameter on the tire, 205/75-R15 for example then you have radial ply tires. If you have bias ply tires then you can swap them out for radial ply tires or vice versa without issue. If you let me know what size tires you have now I can make a recommendation but have attached a list of our options below in the meantime.

I really like the Taskmaster brand as a middle of the road option between Kenda and Goodyear.
