Can I Use New LED Trailer Light With Molded Plug On Trailer Without Plug
Question:
Replace Left Trailer LED Light — which someone broke in parking lot. I thought I purchased the same light from you all but the plugs appear different. Any suggestions on how to handle. I’m assuming I could cut off new plug and connect to old wiring and plug. If so, best types of connection to keep waterproof? Any help would be great! It looks like the new light that was purchased part # STL37RPG has a molded 2-way plug and separate ground wire and your trailer wiring has loose wires. You can cut the plug off and attach the appropriate wires to your old wiring by function using butt connectors part # DW05744-5 to seal them up.
