Is it Advisable to Change Diameter of Wobble Rollers

Question:

I have an older Shoreline roller trailer. I am trying to replace the wobble rollers on it as one fell off and the others are showing some wear. The thing is, I am seeing two potentially 3 different overall sizes as I measure the ones on the trailer. Is there a right or wrong size? Does it matter? Being that I need 12 and am trying to keep the expense down, what do you recommend?

It would be best to stay with the sizes you currently have (assuming everything is working well), as changing the roller diameter can affect how the hull meets up with the bow stop or rollers if your trailer is so equipped. One of my friends had the same thing going on, and he decided to replace half the rollers one summer and the other half the next which worked out pretty well. If you change the diameter, you'll need to replace all the rollers at the same time. The Yates # YR500YW-7P 5 inch wobble rollers would make fine replacements, assuming some of the rollers that need replacement are 5 inches in diameter.
