High - Low Adapter for a Honda Odyssey Carrying a Bike Rack

Question:

i have a 2 receiver on the back of a honda odessey van. i was hoping to use the rm-076 to bring our bike rack up higher, it tends to drag the bikes tires on the ground when encountering any slopes or driveways. what is the distance between the two connecting holes on the rm-076, i am wondering how far back it will put the bike rack. thanks mark benner

The product you selected, while seemingly being a match for your application will not work because it is made for applications with tongue weights of less than 100 pounds. Using this adapter would likely result in loss of the bikes and the rack.

We do offer an option for your application though. The Curt Multi-Purpose Ball Mount # D2100 offers a receiver that is raised by 4-3/4 inches that would offer more ground clearance for your bike rack The unit has a 7500 lb towing, 750 lb tongue weight capacity and the receiver portion is rated for 350 lbs of tongue weight.
