Roof Rack Needed To Use Thule Hullavator on 2011 RAV 4
Question:
Does the Hullavator system come with roof racks or do you have to purchase them separately? I have a 2011 RAV 4.

It sounds like you need cross bars for your 2011 RAV 4 because the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier and Lift Assist with Tie-Downs # TH898 does require either round, square, aerodynamic, elliptical or cross bars with top channels of a roof rack to attach to.
If your RAV4 has factory installed rails that run front to back, then I recommend the Thule WingBar Crossbars part # TH711420 with the Evo Raised Rail Feet part # TH710401 that attach to the raised side rails on the RAV4.
If your RAV4 is a naked roof, I recommend The Rhino Rack Aero Bars part # RRVA126B-2 with legs part # RRRLKVA and fit kit part # DK043.
