Selecting Replacement Leaf Springs for 26 Inch Spring on Boat Trailer
Question:
I measured the leaf springs and got 26 from eye to eye. Should I buy 26 or smaller I assume they flatten after time, they are pretty rusty

You are definitely right that trailer leaf springs will flatten out and stretch with age so when it's time for replacements you typically want to choose a set that's just a tad smaller in length than what you measured.
If your boat trailer is equipped with a 3,500 pound axle then I recommend going with the 4-Leaf # e54SR that you were looking at, which measures 25-1/8 inches from eye to eye. This is an extremely popular size for 3,500 pound axles so it's most likely what you have.
I have attached a couple short videos on this leaf spring that you can check out as well.
