Greystone Electric Fireplace Shuts Down and Will Not Come Back On For Multiple Hours
Question:
I have a Greystone fp in my new Rv. It turns it self off for hours after being on for 45 min and only the flame on and no heat. Once it turns off it will not come for hours. Isvthe Re a solution to fix this or a better fp I can get for my rv. I have only had the rv 6months

I would love to help but your best option would be to take the trailer back to the dealer to file a warranty claim. The only advice I have for you would be to unplug the unit and wait about 15 minutes or so before plugging it back in to preform a reset. If this does not work then it would need to be replaced as there is likely a control board issue. If the unit is not covered under warranty or you just want to replace this on your own then I recommend a Furrion Electric Fireplaces like part # FF34SW15ABL or one from the attached list as we have found these to be much more reliable than the Greystone Electric Fireplaces.
