Do Both Generators Need to be Running to Pull Power from Parallel Kit

Question:

Kyle answered this question already, however I dont quite see how there would not be 110 volts supplied to the box that is supplied with the parallel kit if only one generator was running at a time. The junction box should still have 110 volts even though one generator is being used at a time, obviously wouldnt have the full 6000 Watts but for running a coffee pot or a toaster oven etc etc it should be fine. Please confirm that if our coach is plugged into the junction box the generators are connected with the parallel kit even though one generator is not being used there will still be 110 volts at the junction box. Also, each remote starts the generator its paired with, no?

You don’t need to have both generators running if you want to run a coffee pot or smaller appliance on one of the 20A receptacles for the etrailer 6,000-Watt Portable Inverter Generators Kit # 333-0003-2-0007. When you want to use the 30A or 50A receptacle from the parallel kit (which it sounds like you are wanting to do), then both generators will need to be running.
