To access your 5th wheel hitch on your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500HD I recommend the Aluminum Bestop TrekStep Side Mounted Truck Step # B7540015. This can be installed on either side of your pickup and is easily lowered and then retracted with your foot so you don't have to stoop down just to use it.
This step bolts directly to the frame of your Chevy and will be located in front of your rear wheel so you know you will be able to reach your hitch.
