Is it okay to replace an ST205/75R15 C Rated trailer tire with Higher rated D rims and tires?

Yes, it's totally fine to replace a wheel and tire on a trailer with the same size wheel and tire but with a higher weight capacity like in your case with the size ST205/75-15 the best Load Range D option we have is the USA made Taskmaster Provider part # TR20515D that can be installed on the # AM20422 wheel. This tire has a weight capacity of 2,150-lb maximum load at 65 psi.
