Sidewinder w 5th Airborne Recommend to Reduce Chucking Allow Short Bed Truck to Make 90 Degree Turn

Question:

Does the sidewinder have air bags or some other mechanism to reduce chucking or vertical movement perhaps something similar to the Fifth Airborne? Does the Fifth Airborme Kingpin give short bed trucks a 90 turning ratio? Thanks. Mark

There are Sidewinders that do have 5th Airbornes built into them, and yes they would give a short bed truck the ability to make a 90 degree turn and it would reduce chucking. I attached a page that shows all of the different model Sidewinders we offer with a 5th Airborne.

Check out the FAQ I attached on Sidewinders if you want to see which model would work with the pin box you have on your trailer. Sidewinders are pin box specific and you would need to find out which pin box you have and then pick the correct one accordingly. Typically there is a plate stamped on the pin box of trailers that says the model of pin box that is on the trailer.
