Is It Okay to Use Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter on Yellowstone RV

Question:

I have a 2006 gulf stream Yellowstone thirty five foot RV, Just purchased it. I was told that gooseneck adaptor to 5th wheel is not recommended for 5th wheels. I am looking at CAB-C5G, not sure this person knows what he is talking about. Why would they be available if not supposed to use them. I have a GMC 2500 serria if that makes any difference.

Sometimes fifth wheel adapters like the # CAB-C5G void the warranty of the trailer they are installed on. That said, we've not had any issues on trailer frames caused by adapters like this so I'd doubt you'd ever have a problem but it's maybe not the most ideal solution for a full-timer.
