How to Determine Replacement Grease Seal
Question:
I have a 2007 Rockwood hard top trailer, with 12 inch tires. I took the hub off and Repack both bearings and there was no grease seal . Do some axle have no grease seal or has my trailer been missing them for over 12 years. I have never had any issues.

If you have a hub with bearings, you have a grease or you would have had major issues with your bearings not retaining grease. I'm not certain what happened to it, but I can tell you exactly how to determine what replacement you'll need.
You will need to use digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings and grease seal ride. You can use the photo I've attached to see exactly where you need to measure.
I have added a link to our entire selection of grease seals for you to check out once you find out which seal you need.
