Question:
how tight should the handle on sway bar be tightened Especially with making wide turns trying to avoid bending weight distribution hitch? Advice appreciated. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you are making a tight turn with a weight distribution and sway control you'll want to disconnect the sway control otherwise it will damage itself like you have found.
The amount of tension in the setup will not cause the bend that you have had happened.
