What Media Can Play Through USB Port of Furrion RV Stereo # DV3300SBL

Question:

We just bought a new trailer and tried to use my thumb drive to play a movie, it is an MP4 media, what do I need to change it to to play on the DV3300?

The USB port of the Furrion RV Stereo # DV3300SBL can only play music. There isn't a way to play a video through this port. Only way to do that would be with a DVD disc. There aren't any RV stereos that allow you to play videos through the USB drive.

In the user's guide, it states it does support .MP4 via the USB port. Is that a misprint?

MP3 or WMA files are supported through the stereo's USB port.

@ChrisR I contacted Furrion about the MP4 issue and got a reply from them. They sent me an updated manual that gives the Supported Video Format for the DV3300SBL. I was able to convert my .mp4 file to an .avi file and it does indeed play via the USB port on the unit. I will attempt to send you a copy of the manual so you can experiment too.

@JackC How do you get to the USB port through the TV menu? It is not listed as an input and I could not find anything in the TV menu. The TV has the USB port and I see USB on the remote but when I press the remote nothing happens.
