Do Polyurethane Cushions in Convert-A-Ball 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G Need Replacing
Question:
Do the polyurethane cushions on the adjustable fifth wheel to gooseneck adapters need to be replaced after so many hours of towing? Can the polyurethane cushions be inspected for wear? Can the polyurethane cushions be accessed and replaced? Thanks.

The polyurethane cushions do not need to be replaced on the Convert-A-Ball 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter, part # CAB-C5G. I spoke with my contact at Convert-A-Ball and he said the polyurethane cushions are not accessible for replacing. He said that the polyurethane that is used in these cushions is the same material used in the suspension of the over the road trucks and they will not wear out. The only thing that will cause damage to the polyurethane cushions is temperature over 500 degrees, which means direct heat would have to be applied to the cushions to damage them.
