Does Engine Fuel Filter for 2006 Chevy Silverado Diesel Have Sensor Wire

2006 Silverado 2500hd 6.6L duramax. Does this filter require or have a sensor wire? Or whats the the story about this?

The PTC Custom Fit Engine Fuel Filter - Diesel # 351PPS9059 that fits your 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.6L V8 diesel does not require or have any type of sensor wire. It simply has new seals and O-ring; though I'm not 100 percent sure what you are referring to by the story behind this, with a diesel it is a pretty good idea to change the filter every oil change or two.

This filter is an exact replacement for the following:

Hastings: FF1120 and FF1220
GKI: TP1300
Wix: 33960
