Recommended Cargo Box and Bike Rack for 2010 Honda Pilot with Factory Roof Rack

For the factory roof rack on your 2010 Honda Pilot you will want to go with a skinnier cargo box that's able to accommodate a bike rack on either side.

For this I strongly recommend the Thule Force XT # TH6356B, which measures only 24-3/4 inches wide but still provides up to 11 cubic feet of storage capacity. This is an excellent cargo box with a dual-side opening lid that lets you access your cargo from either side of the Pilot, SecureLocks to ensure the lid is closed and locked every time, integrated load straps inside the box to help secure your gear, and a really sleek aerodynamic design that looks great and allows for a quiet ride.

The one thing I do recommend checking, especially on your Pilot since the factory rack is positioned a bit further towards the rear of the roof, is the hatch clearance with this box installed. Take a measurement from the center of the front crossbar back to the point where the roof meets the hatch. As long as this distance is at least 48-1/4 inches the box will fit perfectly without any interference with the hatch when it's opened.

Then for a bike rack I really like the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103 that secures your bike by the wheels and also includes locks to help deter theft. I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
