Cost Efficient Solution for Transporting 2 Kayaks on Roof of Ram Truck Cap

What is the most cost effective way to safely carry two kayaks on the camper shell of my 2015 Ram? I do not have cross bars or a rack installed.

The most cost efficient way to safely transport your 2 kayaks on the camper shell of your 2015 Ram is to use a set of truck cap crossbars and two of the Malone Kayak Carriers # MPG154. These are durable foam blocks that simply wrap around the crossbars to support a loaded kayak. Tie-down straps are also included to secure them into place.

For the roof rack system itself I recommend the Rhino-Rack # Y02-490B that features tracks that get permanently installed on the cap (drilling is required) to provide a base for the two 59 inch Vortex Aero Crossbars.
