Troubleshooting Tow Bar Wiring Not Working After Install of Diode Kit

Question:

I purchased the 7 to 6 diode wiring kit. I followed the video install to a T . My lights , signals, taillight, etc work fine on the Jeep . Once hooked up to the 2019 Winnebago Vista , I plugged in the coil connectors from RV to the Jeep Jeep but nothing is happening when I engage the RV signals. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot ???

Have you verified that the trailer wiring is working on your RV? You can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test all of the pins of the 7-way. Also make sure all of the wiring/connectors are seated properly as well.

Basically you need to find where the trailer wiring is working and then work your way back from there to the taillights of your Jeep to see if you can find where the circuits stop working and fix as needed.
